designers have been nationally recognized in such magazines as
Kitchen and Bath Design and Better Homes and
Gardens. We'll work with you every step of the way to insure that your project is successful and enjoyable.
From the initial consultation through to the completion of your project, your designer,
Lead Carpenter and Project Manager will be there to provide design options, present a variety of alternative materials and help you coordinate all of your choices into one beautiful project.

Lisa
McCoy,
Vice President and General Manager
As
co-owner and General Manager of The Fairfax
Interiors Group, Lisa manages day-to-day operations
and oversees the production scheduling and
management. She is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of
James Madison University, with a BBA in Marketing
and minors in both Art and English. Prior to joining
the Fairfax Interiors Team, Lisa worked for almost
20 years as a Business Analyst and Marketing Manager
for such organizations as Capital One, Victoria
Secret Catalogue Division and AOL Time Warner.
Lisa and her husband Jim have been coordinating
large remodeling projects for fifteen years and have
developed an approach that emphasizes quality and
professionalism in all aspects of the work. They
have three children, Kate, 15, Megan, 8, and Chase,

Charity
Podsednik,
Project Manager
After marrying in June of 2003, and moving from
Wyoming to Northern Virginia, Charity took a few
months to get used the area before looking for an
opportunity to expand her career. Having studied
Accounting in college and working in that field for
the last several years she was ready for a change in
direction. Charity will now be working as Project
Manager /
Interior Design Trainee assisting in the day-to-day
operations and looks forward to the exposure she
will have to Interior Design.
Since their honeymoon in St. Lucia, Caribbean,
Charity and her husband Todd
have enjoyed learning to cook together and dreaming
about the future.

Mary Amos, Allied
member, ASID
Mary has almost 20 years of experience in the interior decorating / design field. She is an expert color consultant for
paint colors, fabric colors and wall coverings. She is also a knowledgeable expert in reupholstery and antique furniture of the American period. She is very familiar with every wall covering book and coordinate for wall covering, in our library! We love her because she is highly creative in accessorizing homes after a thorough needs assessment. (It makes her very sought after by clients). She also designs beautiful and unique window treatments using trims and fabrics effectively.
Mary is an avid collector of Americana and Shaker furniture. She has won awards for her decorative oil painting.

Jennifer
Day,
Designer
A
graduate with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in
Interior Design from California State University,
Chico, she continued her education while living in
Spain studying Spanish architecture and design. Upon
her return to the United States, Jennifer joined Jo
Ann James Interior Design in Northern California, a
firm specializing in customized residential design.
Projects included new construction and remodels
valued up to ten million dollars. She's worked with
a variety of styles ranging from Mediterranean to
traditional to contemporary. Jennifer enjoys working
closely with clients to create the perfect
"fit" for their personal needs.
Along
with swimming and hiking, Jennifer likes to take
advantage of a "free weekend" to travel
and explore new areas.

Cheryl
Parsons, Designer
Having recently relocated from Miami, Florida,
Cheryl brings many years of experience in the
interior design field. In Miami, Cheryl was
president of a successful decorative arts and
interior design firm providing client services
including consultation and purchasing of
furnishings, window treatments, soft goods,
accessories and artwork for homes and businesses.
Also, the firm designed and supervised renovations
of kitchens and baths in some of Miami’s finest
homes. In addition to interior design
services, Cheryl Parsons Designs became the premiere
decorative arts company providing faux finishes,
murals, trompe l’oeil and custom stenciling
designs. As an accomplished artist, Cheryl
personally painted the murals for clients including
whimsical children’s rooms, furniture to
landscapes as large as eight hundred square feet.
Client’s included such notable homes as Oprah
Winfrey, John Secada, Nick Bounconti and corporate
offices of Burger King and Sunglass Huts
International.
At
The Fairfax Interiors Group, Cheryl designs and
supervises kitchen and bath renovations in addition
to offering decorating services.

Carey
Besch, Designer
Carey
joined The Fairfax Interiors Group after spending
several years working at another design/build firm
in Fairfax County. Having varied experience in the
remodeling industry, from small powder room remodels
to whole house remodels, Carey has chosen to
specialize in kitchen and bathroom design. With
interests in interior design and decorating, the
services that TFIG provides makes the move a perfect
fit. Having recently remodeled her own kitchen,
Carey has personal experience and empathy for
Clients going through the process. She enjoys
working with Clients to make their new spaces, not
only suit them and their families needs, but be
gorgeous and
elegant as well. Carey is pursuing her Certificate
in Kitchen and Bath Design and hopes to complete the
program within the next year. She is a native
Northern Virginian, grew up in Fairfax County and
received both her Bachelors and Masters degrees from
George Mason University.
Carey and her husband, Andy, live in Fairfax Station
with their Doberman
Pinschers, Zach & Lucy. They enjoy cooking,
traveling, gardening and
decorating their own home.

Kelly
Eldridge,
Lead Carpenter
Over 15 years of experience in the carpentry field.
Kelly enjoys hiking, going to the beach and the
mountains, and Civil War reenactment in his spare
time.

Dan
Hoff,
Lead
Carpenter
Over 22 years of experience. In his spare time, Dan
enjoys riding roller coasters and spending time with
his family. He is a former missionary and remains
active in his church activities.
|
Don
Clawson,
Lead
Carpenter
Don has over 20 years of experience in carpentry,
and owned and operated his own finish carpentry
business for seven years. Don is an outdoor
enthusiast who likes to spend his spare time with
his family and friends. He is an avid Redskins fan
|
Bruce
Crutchfield, Designer
Bruce
came to the Kitchen Guild with over 30 years of
professional design experience in both residential
and commercial projects. His project budgets have
ranged from a few thousand dollars to more than $50
million. Bruce holds a BA in Interior Design from
Florida State University where he also completed
Graduate Studies in Interior Design. He has held
faculty positions at Florida State University, the
University of Georgia, Hood College and locally at
Mount Vernon College. He has served as professional
advisor to the Interior Design Program at Northern
Virginia Community College for five years. Bruce has
been a Professional Member of the American Society
of Interior Designers, the National Trust for
Historic Preservation and the International Facility
Management Association.
Bruce
and his wife Margaret live in Herndon. They have a
daughter and son and are just entering a new phase
of life as “empty nesters."

Adriane
Griffin,
Project Manager
After
graduating in 2002 with a B.S. in Interior
Architecture from The University of North Carolina
at Greensboro, Adriane relocated to Fairfax from her
hometown of Burlington, NC. Throughout college she
was an award-winning design student, a graphic
design consultant and an intern as a showroom and
retail designer both before and after graduation.
Adriane came to us from the EXPO Design Center in
Fairfax where she was a kitchen designer and sales
associate in the kitchen showroom. Currently,
Adriane wears many hats at The Kitchen Guild as a
project manager. She has the opportunity to work on
design and marketing projects, showroom operations,
and everything in between. Adriane rescued her
beloved Greyhound, Tomas, from racing in 2001 and
enjoys wine tasting and baking.

Shane
Masters, Lead Carpenter
Prior
to joining the company, Shane owned his own
carpentry and painting business for five years. His
jovial personality and upbeat nature make him loved
by our clients and requested back many times. When
not working he enjoys fishing, camping and any kind
of sport with his two sons ages 11 and 6. He an
active volunteer in scouting and sports leagues in
the community of Herndon where he lives.

Thad
Ozyck, Project Manager
Thad
grew up in Guilford, Connecticut. He holds a
BS in Computer Science from Southern Connecticut
State University. He worked as a Programmer for a
company in Providence Rhode Island before relocating
to Alexandria. Thad is responsible for
coordinating production schedules, managing incoming
product, overseeing our warehouse and company
vehicles and of course assisting in all computer
operations and maintenance. Thad has always enjoyed
carpentry and construction and has served as a
general contractor for several of his family’s
construction projects. Thad enjoys biking, sailing,
ice hockey, lacrosse and spending time with Laura.

Mary
Jo
Jackson,
Marketing Manager
Mary
Jo has worked on Saturdays for the Fairfax Interiors
Group (and the former Fairfax Shade Shop) off and on
since 1996. Now that her youngest son is in school
full time she has started working a more
“normal” part-time schedule. A graduate of
Roanoke College with a B.A. in English she enjoys
running, reading, cooking and keeping up with two
sons, ages 7 and 8.
